Allan Forrest

Having graduated from Stirling University with an Honours degree in Accountancy Allan trained with Scott Oswald in Glasgow where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990.  He left private practice shortly after qualifying and worked in industry as the Financial Director of a large manufacturing and retailing company.  He then joined Purves CA in 2003 and is Head of our Accountancy Department.

Allan is a keen mountain biker and makes full use of the excellent biking facilities in the Borders. He also enjoys walking, regularly plays golf is a curler and enjoys relaxing with his family.  Allan is the firm’s lottery syndicate manager!
